MY STORY

Fred Ritch grew up in a military family, originally from New York and raised in Sacramento, California. He holds a BA in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a Master’s in Human Factors Psychology from California State University, Northridge. With over 20 years of experience as a User Experience Research professional, Fred has contributed to software design and development at leading companies such as Symantec, Earthlink, IBM, Dell, Cisco, and AT&T.

Married for 13 years and a father to two daughters, aged 10 and 18, Fred’s life took a significant turn following his separation from his wife in 2018 and a subsequent high-conflict divorce. Becoming a targeted parent of parental alienation, Fred faced immense challenges and substantial legal expenses, only to find that the Family Court system exacerbated his struggles. Despite being alienated from both of his daughters, Fred found a path to healing through connecting with other parents facing similar hardships.

Fred has since dedicated his time to building PATH (Parental Alienation to Healing), a community aimed at raising awareness, providing education, and offering support to those impacted by parental alienation. His journey and commitment inspire many to find peace and purpose amidst their struggles.
